Specific requirements could include:
As a Certified Water Mitigation Technician you will be responsible for the interior drying of homes hit with water losses such as refrigerator line leaks, ice dams, wax ring failures, hose bib failures, bathtub overflows, dish washer failures, as well as sewage losses mold remediation.
Additional Responsibilities Include
Must be IICRC Certified
Must have common knowledge about asbestos
Must be able to use a thermal hydrometer for monitoring losses
Must know how to map water on paper or with the use of computer programs used to monitor water losses
Must be familiar with air movers, dehus, air scrubbers, and all hand tools and Respirator fit
