Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced 1st Class Sheet Metal Workers for projects located in and around Newport News, VA . We are hiring for all shifts at a pay range of up to $27.31/hour based on experience plus $120/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Installing Foundations, Ventilation, Bulkheads, Shipboard Furniture

• Sheet Metal Fabrication

• Shop Work

• Layoff Piece Parts for Fabrication and Assembly

• Assemble Piece Parts in Accordance with Specifications in a Quality Manner

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 Years of Experience as a 1st Class Sheet Metal Work; Marine Experience is Preferred, Aircraft, Industrial, Commercial Sheet Metal Experience is Acceptable

• Ability to Comprehend Complex Ventilation Assembly Drawings, Blueprints and Sketches to include Weld Symbols, Material Types, Datun and Reference Lines

• Ability to Comprehend Fractional and Decimal Dimensions as with the use of a Ruler

• Experience Working in a Physically Demanding Environment

• Familiarity with OSHA Regulations relative to the Shipbuilding Industry

• US Citizen

• Open to Working all Shifts

• Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
