Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in and around Lake in the Hills, IL . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• TIG or Stick welding on aluminum

• Operate electric and pneumatic tools and equipment

• Assemble and fasten materials to make production components

• Weld components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders or verbal instructions

• Setup, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products

Requirements

• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate well with coworkers

• Must have experience with using hand and power tools

• Ability to read a tape measure correctly
