The following criteria will be given priority:




The marine painter must possess a minimum of 3 years of recent painter experience in a shipyard applying epoxy and non-epoxy coatings. As a painter you must be able to:

  • Tend paint pot and paint equipment

  • Able and willing to work in: confined spaces, heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment

  • Set up and operate painting equipment: airless, conventional, brush and roller

  • Ability to apply coatings while maintaining desired MIL thickness

  • Maintain a clean work area
